Interim service providers come in all shapes and sizes; some are stand-alone companies, others are divisions within a search organisation. Some specialise by function or sector, others are generalists and it is important to find the right one for you.
Your first port of call might well be the Interim Management Association members who all work to a Code of Conduct, and there is a helpful page on selecting the right member here.
